Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (ANDVSA)

ANDVSA is a statewide network of community-based programs working to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual violence in Alaska. They provide leadership, advocacy, and funding to member organizations that offer legal support, housing assistance, and emergency travel funds. Services are confidential, free, and available statewide — you don’t need to live in a specific city to access help.

STAR provides 24/7 confidential crisis support for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Services include medical and court accompaniment, trauma therapy, advocacy, and information or referrals. Their trained advocates offer compassionate, confidential support at any time, day or night.


Office of Victims’ Rights (OVR)

The Alaska Office of Victims’ Rights is a state agency that ensures victims of crime are treated with fairness and respect throughout the criminal justice process. OVR helps victims understand their legal rights, provides representation, and assists in navigating law enforcement and court systems.
